I am Mundher Al-Shabi, a seasoned data scientist and AI expert based in Berlin, Germany. With extensive experience in LLM, ML, NLP, and computer vision, I have successfully led and deployed AI-driven solutions at global companies like Delivery Hero, N26, and Aerodyne.

Currently, I’m leading ML and LLM-based projects, where I have spearheaded the development and deployment of large-scale AI models, optimizing product matching, categorization, and semantic search. My work has significantly improved operational efficiency, reducing manual effort and enhancing customer experience.

Previously, I led teams in financial crime prevention at N26, building fraud detection models that processed millions of real-time transactions. I have also worked on AI-powered safety and surveillance solutions for major industries, including oil and gas.

I hold a PhD in AI-driven medical imaging from Monash University, with a strong research background in deep learning and transformer-based architectures. My work has been published in top-tier journals and conferences.
